Education is one of the most important sectors in a country's development. In achieving the success of quality education, effective leadership in schools is a key factor. Research and literature have highlighted various approaches in educational leadership that school leaders can utilise to achieve their goals. The purpose of this study is to describe the various approaches to educational leadership that exist in the literature and to illustrate the advantages of each approach. The method used in this research is literature analysis, by collecting and reviewing various articles, books and other sources related to approaches in educational leadership. The results show that there are several approaches to educational leadership that are generally recognised by educational experts and practitioners. In conclusion, effective educational leadership requires a deep understanding of the various approaches that can be applied. School leaders should have the flexibility to use approaches that suit their specific situation and school needs
