PENGUATAN KETERAMPILAN PENYELESAIAN KONFLIK BERBASIS NILAI-NILAI PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM

This study aims to analyze the reinforcement of conflict resolution skills based on Islamic Religious Education (PAI) values at SDIT Tiara Islamic School. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving Islamic education teachers, the principal, and students. The data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that conflicts occurring within the school environment are mostly interpersonal and arise from minor misunderstandings among students. Teachers strengthen students’ conflict resolution skills through the integration of Islamic values in teaching, religious habituation activities, open dialogue practices (syura and tabayun), and exemplary conduct. Core values such as ishlah (peacebuilding), ‘adl (justice), and tasamuh (tolerance) effectively foster empathy, communication, and cooperation among students. The study concludes that applying Islamic Religious Education values not only enhances students’ conflict resolution abilities but also strengthens their spiritual and social character. Therefore, Islamic education plays a strategic role in creating a peaceful, harmonious, and civilized school culture.
