This study aims to analyze the role of Augmented Reality (AR) technology in improving the quality of education in the digital era, focusing on a case study of AR utilization at SMA Darussalam Blokagung. The research approach used is qualitative with the type of case study as the main strategy. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews and documentation studies related to the implementation of AR in learning as stated by John W. Cresswel. The analysis uses interactive 3 models of Miles and Huberman. The results of the study show the potential of AR in enriching the learning experience by creating an interactive and immersive learning environment. In this case, it can be proven by, anatomy learning becomes more alive, students can visualize abstract concepts, interact with virtual 3D objects, and explore learning environments that are not physically accessible. In history lessons, students can "visit" historical sites or see historical battles on a 3D scale. AR has also been shown to increase learning motivation, facilitate conceptual understanding, and develop students' collaboration skills. This study contributes to the development of innovative AR-based learning models as a solution to improve education, especially for Islamic educational institutions based on Islamic boarding schools that are starting to adapt to educational technology
